The music programs at Boardman are legendary, but they don't happen by magic. Behind every crescendo, halftime show, and trophy is a community of dedicated parents helping to make it possible. Whether your student is picking up a violin for the first time or leading the marching band as a senior, we need you!

♫    What is BBOP?

The Boardman Band & Orchestra Parents (BBOP) is a non-profit booster organization dedicated to supporting our student musicians. We provide the financial and volunteer "muscle" that ensures our directors can focus on teaching and our students can focus on performing.

🎻  How We Support Our Students

Your involvement directly impacts the quality of your child’s musical education. BBOP helps fund:

• Uniforms & Costumes: Keeping our performers looking sharp on the field and stage.
• Instrument Maintenance: Repairing school-owned instruments and purchasing new equipment.
• Travel & Competitions: Offsetting costs for busing, event fees, and those unforgettable music trips.
• Special Events: Organizing the end-of-year banquets and social gatherings.

  🎼    How Can You Help?

You don’t need to be a musician to play a part! We are looking for volunteers for:

• Committees: Opportunities to support our organization and have your voice heard on a variety of committees. 
• Chaperoning: Traveling with the groups to away games and competitions.
• Equipment Crew: Helping move "front ensemble" gear and props on and off the field.
• Fundraising: Assisting with fundraisers, such as Night At the Races, Spring Craft Show and Car Wash.
